Contemporary I

Ada is our Contemporary One instructor this summer. She is in her senior year at Forrest Bird Charter School as well as a student at North Idaho College. Even though she has not had much time to herself with all these studies, she does enjoy discovering new music, reading, and writing short stories and poetry. Dance would normally be included in that list, but dance is so much more than a fun hobby to Ada. Ada recognizes dance as a movement, an idea, and a set of values that have shaped who she is as a young adult. Ada began dancing for Allegro seven years ago and every minute of every class has instilled in her a deep reverence for both the formality and freedom dance allows. Ada hopes to show every young dancer the lessons she has learned for herself.
