Ballet III/Ballet IV/Conditioning/Office Manager

Devyn, is a wife and mother to 6 children. She grew up in a small mountain community like Sandpoint where she started her dance training at the early age of 3. Dedicated hours to weekly instruction, rehearsals, and auditioning for different summer intensive programs that included acceptance into the Joffrey Ballet, in New York. She became a company member and danced in traditional ballet performances, some of her favorites being; Cinderella, Peter and the Wolf, Hansel & Gretel, Union Jack, and annually in the production of the Nutcracker.   

 

While attending college she was introduced to hip hop, modern, lyrical, and contemporary. It was during college when she developed a passion for choreography. Participating in College dance teams and courses, taking master classes, attending conventions, and competitions. Winning 1st place in her first choreographed piece for a group of 15 for Ronald McDonalds - Relay for Life.  After graduating with her A.A and B.A. in education she pursued a career as an Elementary School Teacher.  Giving her a nice balance between work and raising her family.  

 

Devyn continued to dance and performed every chance she got. Longing to learn, teach, and share her 25+ years of formal dance education with others. She was overjoyed at becoming an instructor at Allegro Dance Studio in 2015, and a choreographer for the Gems competition team in 2017.  Creating and directing the dance program at the Litehouse YMCA in 2019.  She led group instructions, and semi-private classes in a wide variety of dance genres from preschool - adults.  Following this she became a Nationally Accredited Group Fitness Instructor through AFAA and started teaching classes in Barre, Dance Fitness, Ballet, Pilates, Yoga, HIIT, Tabata, and more.  She continued down this journey with over 16+ and counting certifications some included PBT, and AcroBATIC Arts. In 2021 she opened the first Barre Fitness studio in our local town of Sandpoint, BarreX Fitness & Dance LLC was created.  She is humbled and excited to be a part of this wonderful studio to support our community by taking on this next chapter in her life of becoming the newest Owner/ Artistic Director.

PBT/Ballet I/Teen Ballet/Adult Ballet/Acrobatic Arts

Ms. Siobhan or Miss Bonbon if you prefer has been with the Allegro family for many years, and currently teaches Acrobatic Arts, Progressing Ballet Technique, and Ballet. She started dancing as a child and never stopped. Finding Allegro's adult dance program reignited her passion for the studio experience.

She has a background education that includes early childhood education, and over 25 years of formal dance education, specializing in Ballet, Jazz, Yoga, PBT, & Acro. As a world traveler, she has been exposed to many unique styles and educators throughout the years.

Heather Bunty

Jazz I/Jazz II/Jazz III/Jazz IV/Prek -Recreation/Super Stars/Tap I

Outgoing and Energetic Dance Professional with experience teaching children and adults, Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Hip Hop. Excellent in spotting talent and a honest, hardworking, reliable, and team player! 


She started her dance career at age 5, drill team age 14-16 and at age 16 Starting teaching dance at Desert Rose School of Performing Arts.  Age 17 Chosen Top Dancer Cheer Leading Camp 1990-1991.  Heather also participated in College Cheer leading and Dance. She now owns her own studio; Heather's School of Dance in Cocolalla, Idaho.  Teacher Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Hip Hop and Zumba Dance Fitness Heather has been with Allegro Dance Studio since 2009. She also was coach of the Sandpoint High School Dance Team from 2014-2016. She actively Teaching, Choreographing, and Managing the Competition team as head Coach for the GEMS 2022/2023 season.

Jillian Vanderbeek 

Contemporary I/II
Jillian Vanderbeek grew up dancing and loves it still. She did ballet from age 5-17 in Woodburn, Oregon and attended six weeks of dance camp at Whitman College, WA age 13-14, learning Modern, Jazz, and Musical Theater. In high school, Jillian was also on stage as an actor and had the lead role in Dames at Sea, a musical. Jillian attended the University of Oregon and completed a Bachelor of Science, major in Dance in 2004. At U of O, she danced ballet and modern every day and fell in love with African Dance. She was a member of Dance Africa, a dance troupe associated with U of O, and performed at local elementary/middle schools in Eugene, OR. After college, Jillian jumped into the working world and has done Marketing, Consulting, and now Finance while teaching a few dance classes here and there. Jillian and her husband have three active children. After moving to Sandpoint almost two years ago, Jillian joined Gypsy Divas, a local dance performance group, and also takes Wild Core classes at Embody. Jillian believes everyone can dance and can enjoy moving and owning your movement. She looks forward to dancing with you!

Reagan Lynch

Ballet II (A/B) 

Reagan. or Miss Rea (pronounced like Ray).  Has been dancing ballet since she was four years old.  She danced seriously for 10 years under classical ballet training.  Recently she graduated from Bellevue College specializing in arts and sciences.  Graduating with an associates at the age of 18 years old.  Her family moved a lot in the recent years.  She was born and raised in Washington State.   Living there for a while and dancing with Pacific Northwest Ballet for two years.  Her family moved to Arizona, where she continued her serious classical training at Scottsdale School of Ballet for, four years.  After some time in the sun she returned to  the rainy city and started dancing at Pacific Northwest Ballet again for a year.  During her dancing years she pursued training in ballet. four years of pointe work, modern/contemporary and two years of flamenco in Arizona.  In her sophomore year of high school she started a program called Running Start - Head Start here in Idaho.  Then college her junior year of high school as a freshman in Bellevue College.  After graduating school Rea realized she wanted to start dancing again.  Around that time she moved to Sandpoint, Idaho and started taking adult classes here at Allegro.
